Hey there,

Hope you had a great weekend. I was in Kitchener on the weekend for Tri-Pride– it was a great festival at Victoria Park in downtown Kitchener. I have no pictures, because I’m still kind of lame that way.

In the next couple of weeks I’ll be adding these new images (below). I’m not 100% on the “Coffee Guy” text, so if you have any suggestions, I’m all ears. Also, I’ll have bacon cards by the end of the week. Don’t forget, it’s free t-shirt Monday, so check your emails at the end of the day.

Adios,

Lisa

Hey there.

I was in Kitchener yesterday at the Blommin’ Earth Fair. It was fun. I left Friday night and stayed in a hotel. That’s right. I slept in a dark, quiet room, all alone. I had to be at the market for 8 in the morning. Got up at 6 am, rolled over and got up again at 8:45 am. That was rough start, but totally worth it.

I’m back home now and we’ve just finished our weekend pancakes, coffee and bacon. Dee-lish.

Now, I’d love your feedback. I’ve got two phrases (so far) for this image and would love your opinion. Email me or post a comment.

Mama makes the best slop!

Or:

Next, I’ll vomit!

Thanks.

Adios,

Lisa

Hey there,

Feeling a little cheated that my usual Thursday Night Party Extravaganza complete with Parks and Rec, The Office and 30 Rock AND a snack bowl (It was Jay’s turn this week.) was derailed by repeats. As a consolation prize, we did get to see The Delivery (Pam and Jim have their baby) which we missed on vacation. It was great, just not the yuks I was looking for.

Now, about our snack bowls. We take turns each week asembling a fine collection of salty and sweet snacks. Jay’s pick this week: Old Dutch Bar-B-Que and Sour Cream ‘N Onion crinkle cut chips, Pretzels, a handful of Junior Caramels and a handful of M&M peanuts. Sorry I don’t have a picture, you’ll have to use your imaginiation for this one. Maybe I’ll photograph next week’s…

And, because I’m still seeking a pick-me-up, here are a couple if old ads that probably won’t make it to a t-shirt, but are pretty funny.

I feel better already.

Here’s one more:

Did Hitler go to Yale?

And finally, you might find this funny too.

Have a great long weekend.

Adios,
